Michayla Moore joined the Kwon Lab in July 2025 as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. She earned her PhD in Biomedical Science from the University of Maine, where she focused on stem cell biology and regenerative medicine. In the Kwon Lab, her research centers on the intersection of metabolomics, the vaginal microbiome, and women’s health, with a focus on understanding metabolic signatures that influence bacterial vaginosis and preterm birth. Outside of the lab, Michayla loves running, traveling, and exploring new coffee shops!
