Jing joined the Kwon Lab as a postdoctoral fellow in September 2023 studying the role of diet and gut microbiota in HIV-related non-communicable diseases. Prior to her current role, Jing attained her Ph.D. in Food Science from UMass Amherst, where her research focused on unraveling the metabolic pathways of health-promoting dietary compounds by gut microbiota. This experience got her interested in the profound impact of gut microbiota on human health. In her free time, Jing is interested in art activities. You might catch her humming a tune or indulging in some doodling during well-deserved breaks.
