Gabriella joined the Kwon lab in February 2026 as a Senior Research Technician. She holds a B.S. in Biology and Biotechnology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, with a focus in molecular biology. Gabriella has previous experience in industry across two start-ups working with long-read sequencing technologies, developing lab automation platforms & protocols, and lab management. At the Kwon lab, she works with Jiawu and Aurora on automating lab workflows and processing samples for multiple research projects. Outside the lab, she enjoys hiking, watching movies, playing video games with friends, and working on cars.
