Emma joined the Kwon lab in June 2026 as a research technician. She received her bachelors degree in biology and health science from Brandeis University. She studies how the gut microbiota and its metabolic products impacts people with HIV and associated comorbidites with Jingyuan and Maryam. 

Outside the lab, she enjoys cooking, working out, and spending time with friends.
